Swami Sarvapriyananda is the head of the Vedant Society Of New York (VSNY). Swami Sarvapriyananda is a monk in the Ramakrishna Order. From 2017 January he is serving the head position in Vedant society. Swami Sarvapriyananda grew up in Bhubhaneshwar, he has done his MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

From childhood, Swami Sarvapriyanada had a deep interest in spirituality. He was very impressed by the Sri Ramkrishna and Swami Vivekananda. The first goal of his life is to become a pilot and the second goal is to find God. Later in his life, he pursues his second goal and his search to find god begin. In the search of finding God, he joins the Ram Krishna Order. In 1994 he join the Ramkrishna order.

Since 2015 he served as the assistant minister in the Vedant Society Of Southern California. Later in 2017, he become the head of the Vedant Society of New York. Swami Tathagathananda was his predecessor in Ram Krishna Order. He is a proponent of Indian Upanishad.
Fortune India magazine described him as one of the best lecturers on Vedanta. He has given many speeches on platforms like Tedx and Sand. He has given several speeches on popular universities including Harvard. His popular speeches like Who Am I and what is Vedanta can easily be found on YouTube.
Ramakrishna Order
Ramkrishna Order is a monastic lineage was founded by the Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa in 1886. Ramkrishna Paramhans was born in 1836. There is another organization Ramkrishna Mission which do charitable work like primary schools, Orphanages, Hospitals and Clinics.
Ramkrishna Paramhans gave his disciples to the Swami Vivekananda. Later in 1897, Swami Vivekananda founded the Ramkrishna Math. Now they have more than 166 centres all over India.
Ramkrishna has some unique symbols which show their idea about the god. Their water symbol shows the unselfish work, the lotus shows the love of God, the rising sun represents knowledge, encompass the serpent represents the awakening of spiritual powers.
